THE GREAT SILVERWARE HEIST OF 1964: SOMEONE MUST PAY!
Harry Leonardatos explains below that the Commander and Chief of Clarkstown Schools has assigned him to get to the bottom of the "Great Silverware Heist" of 1964.
Harry explains further that there will be detention unless or until someone spills the beans about "The Great Heist" and returns the silverware missing for over 5 decades!
Since no one admits a thing, Harry fingerprints each classmate (and their spouses) and hands out detention slips for immediate execution 50+ years after the "Heist"!
The Class is not happy about detention but no one will admit to masterminding the theft.
The detainees have now been deprived of food and water for over an hour and have gone without a mid-afternoon nap, but nobody is giving up any information.
The Class is now in hour two of detention but resistance is strong and remarkably, no one is ratting anybody out! Harry wonders how they are remaining so resistant under such punishing duress.
Unwilling to be detained at Clarkstown High School until someone confesses, Eric Gushen has cautiously surveyed the situation and has hatched a plan of escape. He whispers quietly, "Vive la resistance"!
Eric, fist clenched in defiant determination, leads the escape whispering "Vive la France, follow me, we can make it"!
Eric leads the escape from detention exclaiming, "I told ya we'd get away!"
Eric discovers that his valiant escape efforts have failed, exclaiming, "Comment ça, on est foutu?" ("What do you mean we're busted?")
And so ends the story of the "Great Silverware Heist" 2014 style!
